“My ultimate goal is to bring Chiropractic care to every individual and family member”
A native of Florida, Dr. Shaneen Brown completed her undergraduate core work at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she received a Bachelors in Health Science. While studying full time, Dr. Brown worked full-time in Fort Myers, Florid, as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After completing her studies at Florida Gulf Coast, Dr. Brown was accepted to Sherman College of Chiropractic. At this point, Dr. Brown was familiar with the healthcare system and wanted to experience a holistic form of treatment that would analyze the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of a person’s life. It was before her tenureship to Sherman College that she underwent chiropractic care for the first time in Naples, Florida. It wasn’t long after she received chiropractic care that she realized becoming a chiropractor was suitable for her. Her motivation to achieve this goal was inspired by her desire to one day help individuals that experienced the same physical problems that resulted from spinal misalignment.
In 2013, while a student at Sherman College, Dr. Brown was afforded the opportunity to a chiropractic mission trip where she provided spinal care to the people of Ouanamnithe, Haiti and various cities in the Dominican Republic. This trip not only opened her eyes of how fortunate she was to live in America but also of how important it was for her to reach her dreams of becoming a chiropractor. In addition, Dr. Brown volunteered her time for a free chiropractic clinic, where she assisted in providing chiropractic care for residents of Inman and Spartanburg.
In 2014, with God’s help and her motivation to help others, Dr. Brown received a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Sherman College of Chiropractic. In addition to required course material, Dr. Brown attended special technique classes including Pediatric Adjusting and Activator Protocols. This special training has made it possible for Dr. Brown to offer a variety of chiropractic treatment methods. It is with pleasure and honor that Dr. Brown can now provide a holistic and alternative form of healthcare for those seeking it and at the same time share her story of how chiropractic care helped shape her life.
